Let's keep those gorgeous arches on point with some TLC
After care instructions
An aftercare ointment will be given to you to apply twice a day. Use gentle soap (Dove) on your fingertips and gently apply to brows in a circular motion for about 10 seconds per brow.
Rinse gently & pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel. Then apply a very thin layer of ointment. Apply with clean fingertips only.
The first few days, your new tattoo can be bold and sharp looking. They will also look a bit chestnut red in colour. This is normal and will disappear in a few days. You may feel the treated area feels tight and tender, almost like a sunburn too.
After a few days your tattoo may start to flake a little. It’s important not to pick at them.
The entire healing process takes up to 4 weeks. During this time you will notice your tattoo becoming lighter and softer in the skin. It can also look patchy. This is all to be expected. Overtime, you will notice the colour becomes more stronger and evened out. Your touch up appointment will be at the end of this period and will complete any colour loss and definition of shape. Trust the process!
First 10 days
Use cotton rounds or paper towel, pressing very gently, to assure all fluid from tattoo has been cleaned. Usually a few times over an hour or two is sufficient.
The evening of your appointment you can begin the cleansing and ointment. Remember, just use your fingertips and just enough water to wash. They shouldn’t get soggy wet.
Try not to have your shower or bath super hot.
Avoid sun exposure.
No products such as glycolic acids, retinols or glycolic acids to be applied to tattoo.
No excessive sweating.
No pools or hot tubs.
No facials or other face treatments.
Use your aftercare gentle cleanser (Dove) and ointment for two weeks. If after two weeks the tattoo seems dry and flaky still, continue to use for a few more days.
